One of the weakest escape rooms out of the 70+ I've done. The arcade machine wouldn't start—they just passed a key to us through the door. One of the three tokens for a puzzle was missing. Some steps are impossible without the host's hints, and some locks were opening by themselves. I don't recommend it.

The quest was scheduled for 7:00 PM, and we ended up standing with a group of kids in the rain for almost an hour by a locked door. They cited electrical issues and asked us to wait; in the end they gave a small discount, but it still left a sour taste. In the 6+ mode the kids were so scared they didn’t even make it halfway — clearly not kid-appropriate. I wouldn’t recommend it for a party.

We went on March 8 with my wife and two teenagers. Overall, everyone liked it: the actor was scary, the girls were screaming, but the puzzles turned out to be difficult for us and sometimes illogical. Make the key more noticeable, add clear markings on the locks, provide clearer logic for the word clue, and give a hint about the order of digits in the room with the discs. Then it would be perfect.

We liked that there are lots of locations and the puzzles are engaging, but the game master didn’t always keep up the pace, and the runes sometimes triggered with a delay and caused confusion. The finale could be clearer—for example, add a voice cue or an explicit hint on the wall.

I wouldn’t recommend it for adult teams without an in-room actor: the logic in many tasks is shaky, some elements look like props and don’t work, and doors were often opened remotely. The hosts would sometimes disappear and not respond, and the rooms are dusty. The only plus is the number of rooms and the set design, but as a quest itself — it’s a miss.

Of the three escape rooms in the city, "Astral" was the one I liked the most: the puzzles are great, the set design is fine, and the actor’s performance is acceptable. I’d replace the mask—it’s more funny than scary, and the prop mockups look cheap. Tweak the lighting a bit so the dark entity blends into the darkness, and it’ll be absolutely awesome. Overall, I’m satisfied.
