We didn’t regret going: the tasks and mechanics are unusual, not insanely difficult, but they make you think. The special effects were impressive—we haven’t seen anything like that before—and the actors delivered powerful performances. The individual tasks add genuine horror when you’re left one-on-one with the monster.

We did “Mama” at Go Crazy — it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, details, and storyline are carefully put together; it scares more psychologically than with brute force, and that really draws you in. The concept is great, but the execution is lacking. The handcuff on the “victim” jammed, we spent time trying to detach it, and the final task stalled because of a broken prop. Too many tasks demanded strength and patience rather than logic; the walkie-talkie communication failed, but the actor stayed professional and tried their best to the end.

Top-notch atmosphere and acting—scares were honest and painless. By the end, though, my ears were tired from the loud effects, and it was quite warm inside; better ventilation would help. Otherwise, I recommend it, especially with two actors.

Our experienced escape-room team was left rather lukewarm: there’s almost no automation; much is run by a disembodied voice off-screen, and we didn’t click with the ambience. Three required items were simply handed to us by the actors during “individual sessions,” and the actors’ fee came up as a surcharge — we’d like more transparency. We went as a pair. Note: the base price doesn’t include actors; you can even opt out of actors during the experience. I got so scared at the first appearance of “Mother” that I had the actors removed, and it was still oppressive and grim; in a panic it’s easy to end up with bruises. The quest delivers, but be realistic about your limits.

The atmosphere and special effects are great, and the actor is solid as well. But I wish there were more puzzles; without the administrator’s hints it would have been hard at times to understand what to do. It doesn’t feel like a 16+ experience. We chose this performance and expected more. The concept is strong, the entry into the story from the moment you step in is great, and the actors’ questions are engaging, but then the flaws start to show: the transition zone barely works, and at times the actors themselves spell out where to run and what to do, which turns you from a participant into a spectator. There were plenty of emotions, but at times the actor went overboard with grabbing by the throat—it was genuinely painful. Otherwise, everything was top-notch: darkness, sound, puzzles; the admin was friendly. If you opt for contact, discuss boundaries in advance.

The worst experience: it was –25°C outside, you can’t arrive early, so we ended up freezing, and the start was delayed. The administrator was juggling several quests and kept giving hints without being asked; we finished in 40 minutes and left disappointed.
