Company «Lobotomy (ИП Титов И.В.)»

The actor nailed it—the fear sweeps over you and you forget it’s a game. But the organization fell short: the administrator mumbled through the briefing, and after I cut my nose on a chain, both the first-aid kit and their response were inadequate. The lobby was rather dirty and cold.

We went to 'The X-Files', ended up at 'Tesla's Curse' and suddenly discovered it was the exact same quest. They only changed the name and the backstory, while the rooms and puzzles were identical. The website didn't mention this, and it even cost more than advertised. Very unpleasant.

The 10–11-year-old kids loved the quest; they finished it in 45 minutes and asked for hints often—it was their first time. The only downside was that the party room was cold, so the kids kept their jackets on. Otherwise, everything was great; we’ll be back.

Disappointed from the very start: they rescheduled the time, then kept us waiting on site and didn’t even apologize. As for the game, the rooms are cramped, the walkie‑talkie was glitchy, the actor showed up rarely and wasn’t scary at all, and there are shocking photos hanging in the corridor — a very strange choice. The whole escape room saga started with a mess: our booking was either lost or mixed up, and we were greeted by a very young operator. Inside, the walkie-talkies were picking up other people’s chatter, and the hint was delivered to us in an envelope by someone who simply walked through all the rooms. So much for immersion — we won’t be coming back.

Instead of 'Mission Impossible' we were sent to 'Shelter for a Killer'. We confirmed several times over the phone about the quest with lasers, and it was also confirmed on site, but inside it turned out to be the interior of a different project. It's unpleasant that we were misled.

We expected a spy-themed escape room, but in reality it felt like elements from different stories were thrown together. The cover showed lasers, but there weren’t any in the game. In the final room there was a bathtub with blood, which we weren’t warned about — that’s too much for 8–9-year-old kids. We were going to “Asylum for Killers,” but due to an operator’s mistake we ended up on “Tesla.” Inside, the game master came in several times to fix mechanisms; radio replies were hit-or-miss, and we could hear another team’s game through the wall. At the end they even rushed us out. Zero emotions except irritation.

The quest felt empty to me: locks upon locks, not much logic, the connection to Tesla is tenuous—mostly math and mechanics. Some of the props are just for show, and one small room never even came into play. A couple of puzzles unlocked early, which made the storyline fall apart.

On our second visit, the staff disappointed us: at times they weren’t monitoring the game, the radio kept cutting out, the props didn’t work, and one task could only be started from their side. The finale felt flat, with no sense of victory.
