WeaknessesFew puzzles and at times a short run, especially for the experienced. Slippery sections of floor and tight corridors add risk, in large groups you can collide. There are occasional misunderstandings about contact level and fear.
StrengthsThe lab atmosphere, music and lighting create nervous tremors and a horror-movie effect. The actors carry the whole show, lots of improvisation and live contact, the story reacts to your actions.
SecurityThe briefing explains the rules in detail and you can choose a mode. Comfortable non-slip shoes are recommended; due to running, falls and small scrapes are possible, and in large groups watch out for each other.
Level of fearGenuinely scary, on hard some give up in the first minutes. Children and the sensitive should take light/medium, otherwise it will be too rough.
Actors' gamePerform at a high level, keep the tension and know how to crack a joke at the right moment; Greta, Oleg, Vanya, Alexey and others are often noted. Lots of interaction, hints are given in character, modes and actor behavior adapt to the team.
Quality of riddlesPuzzles are simple and fair, more about speed and attention than pure logic. There aren’t many, but it’s enough for the tempo. Fans of brain-benders may miss some depth.
PlotA laboratory where experiments went wrong, and the team tries to get out, revealing details on the fly. The story varies with your decisions and continues in 'Evolution 2: Genesis'.
Difficulty levelPhysically intense, mentally not hard; newcomers will enjoy it, and veterans will like the drive. Big groups can feel tight and chaotic, optimal is 4–6 people.
