Instead of the reserved “Margaret,” they offered “The Purge.” Overall, we liked the quest—the actors are strong—but the waiting and payment conditions were disappointing: no internet signal, no card terminal. The birthday was a blast: plenty of locations, and we even had to crawl. Tip—knee pads wouldn’t hurt. The actors cranked up the tension hard; at times it felt like you might actually die. The only downside—occasionally you could smell gasoline from the chainsaw, but adrenaline‑wise the quest delivered 100%.

The house is big and interesting, but it’s so dark you can hardly see anything. We asked that two of us not be choked — yet they still choked and grabbed us, and on medium mode we left with scratches. The robes weren’t exactly fresh, and we’d like the actor interactions to be more varied than just screaming and dragging.

Starting off in the “waiting area” was disappointing, there was nowhere to store belongings, and the robes didn’t feel fresh. During the game, a key was missing at times, the flashlight died halfway through, the plot didn’t come across, and they even chased us on the staircase. If you want meaning and cleanliness—skip it; if you’re just looking to get roughed up—then sure.

It was our first “scary” quest; we went with medium difficulty. The puzzles felt easy but interesting; what threw us off most wasn’t the riddles but the sudden visitors—the actors were great at distracting us. It’s a better fit for those who want to get scared than for fans of pure logic. Going as a pair was just right.

The dungeon feels real—the ambiance, sound, and lighting run like clockwork. The puzzles are unusual and not clichéd, and solving them is a pleasure. The actors are sensitive to boundaries and can startle you when you least expect it. Highly recommended.
