Science pushes the boundaries of the possible. The famous engineer Garin announced that he had invented a ray gun. It can be used to drill mines in the Arctic to extract currently inaccessible minerals. Funds are needed to build the gun. To raise the money, Garin organized a flight of a new type of airship powered by electricity. The engineer himself operates the airship. He invited the press on board and put the tickets up for sale. It is forbidden to take weapons. The airship's route: New York - North Pole - Paris. On the first evening of the flight, Garin showed a pocket prototype of his ray gun. It emits a thin beam capable of cutting through a sheet of steel. The airship is approaching the North Pole. Among the passengers are the famous illusionists Amadeus and Gabriel. Whoever shows the best trick will receive a free world tour from Garin. Today Amadeus announced that he would enter the library, the viewers would lock him on three locks, and in half an hour he would come out without unlocking them. Moreover, he will put another person there - Dr. Dassen. The library was examined, no secret passages were found, Amadeus was locked in there at 17:00. Exactly at 17:30 Amadeus was in the salon. But suddenly Gabriel announced that he had solved Amadeus' trick and surpassed it. He swapped Dassen and Garin, so the engineer should now be in the library. The locks were intact. The door was opened. And indeed, the engineer Garin was in the library. But he was dead! You will have to solve the mystery of the engineer's death.
