The verdict was such: to throw the prisoners into the dungeon of the castle for the night, and at dawn send the most cruel executioner, who will extract confessions from the prisoners about aiding the unclean power. "Your only salvation from execution is a scroll of pardon signed by the chief inquisitor, who, however, is currently on a campaign.
