About the escape room

The small town of Ambrouz, swallowed by the shadows of oblivion, once became famous for its ominous house of wax figures. The sculptor Trudi gave birth to Siamese twins - Vincent and Bo. In infancy, they were separated, as a result of which one brother was disfigured, and the other remained unscathed. The further fate of the children remained unknown. Today, this place holds many mysteries, glittering with an ominous glow. Stepping inside, you were stunned - the works seem not just realistic, but alive. In the eyes of each figure, genuine horror and torment are splashing, making the blood freeze in your veins. There is no way back, and unfriendly shadows are slowly consuming you. Wandering through the ominous halls, you stumbled upon information that Trudi, the master, had long left the world of the living. But who then controls this mysterious house and continues to create new figures that fill the walls of the museum? The answer to this question may make you shudder with horror.

We were disappointed with the atmosphere: almost no wax exhibits, few mannequins, and the makeup fell short of expectations. The actors’ performance was uneven, engagement was selective, and the price wasn’t justified. A girl hit her head, and there was no first-aid kit — unacceptable.

We visited the House of Wax Figures. The rules were explained clearly; the venue is spacious and very atmospheric. The puzzles are easy, but the emphasis is on dynamics and tactile interaction; sometimes it’s not immediately clear which direction to run. The actors were flawless—this quest is more for those who enjoy movement and interaction than for hardcore puzzle fans.

There were six of us on the team. The atmosphere and the host were great, but the puzzles were simple and a lock was finicky. I wish the interactions with the actors were better thought out, and in the lite version we asked them not to touch one player — they still did. Good for newcomers; experienced players may find the mechanics a bit sparse.

We went with the Hard+ mode. The location is large; we liked the “crypts” moments and the stealth sections where you couldn’t disturb the characters. The figures are beautiful and creepy, the actors build up fear just right, and the contact is intense. This quest has become a favorite.

We couldn’t calm down for a long time after the game. The actors Sergey and Vladimir made the evening—we’d never had that kind of energy before. The puzzles are easy, but the performance more than makes up for it. Getting to the location wasn’t very convenient, but it was worth it.
