Cursed apartment

You will encounter the ghost of a businessman named Marcus, who led you to this dangerous and deadly place. Marcus lived back in 1952. By the time he was 90, he'd achieved much in his life. Wealth, health, women, respect, and many other blessings were in abundance for Marcus. However, none of this brought joy to the aging businessman over his long life. What's the use of wealth if you can only enjoy it for a limited time? That's what Marcus thought as he made a deal with the devil himself. The terms of the deal were simple: Marcus' soul in exchange for the immortality of the physical body! The devil agreed to the deal. However, when the hour of payment came, the Lord of Darkness discovered that Marcus had no soul! Furious, he condemned him to eternal torment: living in his flat as a ghost until Marcus either hands over his own soul or brings one hundred human souls instead. Only then would Marcus be forgiven, and the devil would cease to pursue him and hold him captive. The elderly Marcus could peacefully live out his days. However, if the devil gets Marcus's soul, it will be subject to cruel torture in hell. Regardless of the outcome, Marcus could never again achieve immortality. And so our hero became a ghost, catching anyone who dared to live in his dwellings, and offering their souls to the eternal flames of purgatory. Marcus' own soul resided there as well. Before making the deal, the farsighted businessman used a witch to extract his soul and place it in a special box, hidden in a place in the apartment that the devil couldn't access. The passage to this place was in Marcus' office and was barred by a holy chest. Only carrying out a ritual that was only possible for a human could open the passage to the secret room and retrieve Marcus's soul from there. He had already collected sufficient amounts of souls. You are to be the last ones to serve Marcus's debt to the devil. For your salvation, you must figure out how to open the passage to the secret room and retrieve the box with the cunning businessman's black soul from there.
