The mystery of the pirate ship

Caribbean Basin, 1753. Pirates rarely rob black, suspicious ships without flags, but your crew - a handful of the most hardened villains who roam the sea under the black flag, decided to attack such a ship. Soon, a serious fight for life and death ensued between your crew and the crew of the black ship. Defeating one rival after another, your team made it to the ship's hold. Anticipating the loot, you rushed in first and infiltrated inside. Suddenly, the ship sharply tilted, then you started to hear wild screams from outside. It seemed like it was the crew of the black ship, but then you realized that you heard the screams of your own team. Rushing to help, you realized that the hatch door was locked by someone. Glancing through a small window onto the deck, you saw a gruesome scene: ropes strangled sailors, the deck cracked, dragging people inside, and sails writhed, throwing your comrades overboard. Meanwhile, the ship itself was rapidly heading for the rocks... Why did the ship come alive? Whose vessel is this? How can you get out of this damnation?
