Abode of the damned

Folk wisdom states that the stingy lose everything, trying to get it all. And so on one ill-fated day, you fell victim to the worst of human vices - greed. Having received news that you could inherit from one of your distant relatives who had died suddenly in a psychiatric hospital, you set out to find documents confirming this fact. Having shuffled through family archives, you found no information about your now deceased relative. However, captivated by the thirst for gain, you head to the provincial poorhouse "Overbrook" to obtain the coveted death certificate promising you mountains of gold. Arriving at the address given to you by a suspicious stranger, you realize that the clinic has long been abandoned, but the atrocities that took place here still make your blood run cold. The horror-inducing fruit of the local executioners' inflamed consciousness and the desperate whining chorus of their mutilated victims turn even the most seasoned brave men grey. And there will be a cry across the land, and the living will envy the dead. The mousetrap has sprung... Welcome to "Overbrook"!
