The village of Morok breathed in silence, a fire burned in every house, reflecting warmth in the eyes of its inhabitants. Happiness floated in the air, and love was the foundation of every home, every family. But one day, as if an uninvited guest, a fog started to thicken over the village. Gradually, it enveloped Morok with a dense shroud: the sun stopped piercing through its gloomy veil, and the day began to resemble twilight. Along with the fog, fear came to the village. The laughter subsided, like birds before a storm, and in the eyes of people lodged anxiety, dark and deep, like a bottomless well. "Something evil is approaching," people whispered, holding crosses and amulets in their hands, as if it was their last hope for salvation.
