About the escape room

The old, abandoned (or so everyone thought) laboratory, whose walls are saturated with pain, suffering, and screams of the test subjects, and the air – with horror and fear, started working again! People began to disappear without a trace in the surrounding area. Some think that Satan himself has settled in this place. Some people tell stories about a creature with inhuman strength that drags the unfortunate ones who crossed its path into the walls of the laboratory. Some believe that terrible experiments are being conducted on people there, but no one has been able to discern the truth. Only one thing is known: none of those who tried to find evidence of what is happening in these blood-soaked, pain and suffering filled walls, returned. Will you be able to find the answers and find out what is happening in this laboratory, or will you rot, like everyone else?

We expected a logic-based quest but ended up with mostly physical contact, even on the easy setting. Our requests not to be hit in the face and not to be pinned down roughly were largely ignored, and one of the actors got uncomfortably close, which was unpleasant. The quest was a hit: good puzzles, excellent actors, and a solid hard difficulty. The location is spacious and safe, with plenty of room to move around. We were late and stalled a bit, but they let us finish properly and even added extra time.

A very contact-heavy escape room, even on medium difficulty. We appreciated that they made an exception for a participant with a medical condition; she was barely touched, while the rest of us got the full treatment. The puzzles are simple, but we got stuck and later regretted lowering the level. We still want to come back and finish it.

Ultrahard turned out to be a real ordeal: they used a stun gun on us and didn’t hold back; we were screaming and crying at the same time. The story and the location are great, but at this level the physical contact overshadows everything. Keep in mind that the bruises will last for a long time.

We started on ultra-hard and dialed it back after ten minutes—the pain was off the charts, but the emotions were exactly what we were looking for. The “good/evil” contrast is performed brilliantly by the characters: one moment you’re laughing, the next you’re crying. We’ll definitely return to hard mode once we’ve toughened up mentally.

We had asked in advance not to toss the participant who had recently had surgery, but during the game that request was ignored, and we even heard a threat to use a stun gun despite the reduced intensity level. We ended up leaving with negative feelings. Such an attitude toward limitations is a serious drawback.

On easy mode I expected it to be gentler, but it felt pretty rough, and they started the clock even before we began. Basically, lots of keys and locks, not much logic. Not my thing.

We opted for the ultra-hard mode for the thrills and got more than enough. Yes, you’ll get bruises, but the adrenaline was so strong our hands were shaking for another hour. We’ll be back for a repeat.
