Once a nationally known veterinary doctor and a candidate of medical sciences, Alexander Shnautz left his teaching job after the collapse of the USSR and opened his private veterinary clinic. Business was booming, but tragedy struck: after working too hard and losing track of time, Alexander failed to meet his wife Vera at the subway. An unknown man attacked her, raped her and killed her. The police never found the rapist... But a grief-stricken and vengeful Dr. Shnautz did. The attacker turned out to be a private security agency employee. The doctor drugged the rapist with tranquillisers and brought him to his clinic to torture him to death and avenge his wife's death, but the torture turned into a dangerous experiment to transform a man into a beast-like creature - a super strong and obedient protector for his daughter Lisa... The doctor did not finish his work, he died of a heart attack right at his desk in his office. After conducting a search in the apartment and clinic, the operatives could not find either the murderer or Dr. Shnautz's daughter Lisa. It's suspected that Lisa died of starvation... And the fate of the doctor's last patient remains unknown to this day... Much time has passed since the tragedy that everyone has long forgotten... But due to an unfortunate coincidence, you rent for the night that same apartment where the Shnautz family once lived...
