Paradox

The town of Hamerfol is shrouded in twilight and holds many puzzles. One of them is related to the place where the gold mining company's office was located. After the gold vein was exhausted - the company went bankrupt, and Hamerfol fell into decline. After some time, strangeness began to occur in the town, people began to disappear in the office building. And those who managed to return told that time and space were greatly distorted in it. A troupe of wandering artists stumbled into the gold miners' town, intending to make a good profit. However, they were unaware that the gold had run out and all the remaining residents were languishing in poverty. Not knowing where to turn, the artists found no better solution than to spend the night in the empty building of the former gold mining company's office. No one among them even suspected that none of the locals would enter this building even under threat of death. What happened to them after?
