Long ago, it seemed, in your past life, a bloody murder made all the town's residents shudder. There was little information in the local newspaper about the monstrous crime, much more of it was spread by bad rumors. This event did not pass you by. Your good friend's family was brutally murdered. All you know is that his parents were found in pieces all over town, and six-year-old Thomas (the brother of your friend) was never found. After the funeral of what remained of the bodies, your friend disappeared, and for almost ten years he lost contact. You had long since moved away from the forgotten small town. But past experiences still come up in your memory. Regularly, you all have the same dream - fragments of memories from the past, where you are calm, doing well, where you spend your best days. However, something is clearly wrong, everyone falls silent, and you catch the piercing gaze of your missing friend's bloody eyes. Pale as marble, with a crooked smile on his face, he quietly, almost in a whisper, says: "Forgive me..." And now, after ten years, you hold in your hands an old, dirty letter, found in the mailbox. You can't read the last lines of the letter - they are made up of incomprehensible symbols. But as soon as you raise your gaze, the whole surrounding world begins to dissolve in thick fog...
