WeaknessesSometimes it’s too dark and there are only one or two weak flashlights for the team — some players idle. There can be dust, stuffiness, and thresholds in the dark; allergy sufferers may have a hard time. Actor work varies: from “top” to “barely interacted,” and run time is either generously extended or cut strictly.
StrengthsStrong Chernobyl NPP atmosphere with real devices, sound, and effects that create constant tension. Ivan is a charismatic host: both safety and the legend are delivered clearly and engagingly. Nontrivial mechanics and a finale that sticks in memory.
SecurityThe briefing is detailed, with an emphasis on safety, and it’s monitored. However, darkness, thresholds, and dust are reasons to wear comfortable shoes and warn about allergies or asthma.
Level of fearThis is one of the scariest quests in the city: without an actor many will cope; with an actor — only adrenaline lovers. For children and the sensitive, it’s better to choose the lighter 14+ version or go without the performance.
Actors' gameMost are thrilled: contact performance, suspense, and well-timed appearances are genuinely chilling. But there are rare reviews of a weak costume or minimal contact; if you want to think — better without an actor, if you want emotions — take one for sure.
Quality of riddlesPuzzles are varied, at times very tricky, but ultimately logical once you collect your thoughts. Low light and red herrings complicate the search and add nerves. Hints are given tactfully and to the point.
PlotYou are stalkers, looking for a bunker and trying to prevent a catastrophe; Ivan presents the legend vividly. The plot unfolds room by room and holds until a powerful denouement.
Difficulty levelDifficulty is above average: newcomers will struggle, and with an actor your brain goes into defense mode. Best to go three to five; two is possible but tough.
